Boohoo...
Well my second year of university is near the end and what a great brief to get. Boohoo came into the university with a live brief for us, we have to create 6-8 garments and do thorough research about the company, customer and trends for the summer/spring 2014 season.
Choosing Verve as my trend out of the three key trends for summer 2014 my research started with looking at the culture, colours and garment shapes

Anti-fashion.....
Grunge. A sound and scene that came from Seattle USA to rebel against the fashion lovers and designers of the world and creating music like no other genre. Unisex clothing like flannel shirts an stonewashed jeans topped off with nothing more than a pair of Doc martens. Simple. Cheap. And became a fashion trend in its own right still living on to this day.
